May 21-May 25

May 21
Monday morning we woke up in our trailer at Paul and Di's, had a quick breakfast and started packing up to head home. Paul was pretty happy to have spent the weekend doing what he loves but we could see he was pretty tired from it all. Over the weekend the water pressure in their house had been doing weird things and they had determined that the water system pressure tank was to blame. He was going to make a few calls in the afternoon to try to line up a new one for the next day. Of course they had to head back in to Edmonton for his treatments so Dave and Paul's brother, Louis (a plumber), made plans to install the new tank on Tuesday.
Bonnyville has been suffering from a tent caterpillar infestation for the last  four years and unfortunately they have returned for year five.
Last years infestation at Pauls

Also last year, these poplars should be in full leaf but caterpillars eat the leaves
They were just starting up at Paul and Di's so we stopped in town on our way home at the RV wash and gave the rig a full spray down so we wouldn't transport any nasty critters to our place. We get them too but not nearly as many and I would like to keep it that way! As luck would have it we also had our first big thunderstorm of the season that afternoon.
Love Alberta thunderstorms!
Lots of rain and even a bit of hail.
The only problem with thunderstorms is they only hit random areas with much needed rain. Most of northern Alberta is very dry and there are many fires burning. The rain was appreciated in our area but the lightening likely started as many fires as the rain put out.
May 22
Woke up early to a beautiful, sunny, warm day. Dave headed out for a run while Margaret and I did a walk. I took her for about 2 km and then continued on myself for another 3.5 km. After some quick showers Dave headed back to Paul and Di's to help install the pressure tank while I sat down to do another blog post. I'll let Dave fill you in on the tank install...
Thankfully I am meeting with Paul's brother Louis at Paul's place. Louis is a plumber and that's great because the install had some quirks! I got there first and depressured and drained the water system for us to take it apart. Quick explanation of the system for some that might not know about an acreage system. Paul has a 5000 gallon cistern buried outside, a truck fills the cistern and there is a submersible pump that delivers water pressure to the house. A pressure switch inside controls where the pump starts/stops and the pressure tank acts as a buffer to maintain steady pressure in the house so that you don't have your tap water pressure going up and down. The sign that the pressure tank failed was the tap in the kitchen "surging" with the pump pressure, hence the new pressure tank.
Paul had already picked up a new pressure tank and had set it in the basement for us. They headed to Edmonton shortly after I got there for more treatments for Paul. I had just started taking things apart when Louis arrived so we brought in a bunch of tools from his truck that we might need. (he had a lot of tools in his truck!) Louis got the old tank disconnected and was removing the wires for the switch when suddenly the wires arced and he jumped, what the?? We both checked that the power was off to the system and, yes, I had the right breaker turned off, so why the heck did it have power?? He carefully taped the wires so they wouldn't spark and we continued replacing the pressure tank. Louis got the new tank in place pretty quick and reinstalled the switch, carefully of course, and we were ready to pressurize the system. Great! Nope, not great, the pump is not starting? No pressure? Hmmm, Louis knows how the circuit works and luckily I know where Paul's tools are so we grabbed a multimeter to look for power. To make a long story short... we had power everywhere at 110 volts, that should work unless it's a 220 volt pump. No, there's only one breaker marked "pressure system" so it has to be 110 volts. We checked a bunch of places for power and I decided to "call a friend" my buddy Ron Charawich who is an electrician and has been for 25+ years, he'll know. Well as luck would have it Ron was at home and not doing much at that time and volunteered to come out and have a look. When he got there I basically introduced him and Louis and moved out of the way. Two trades guys and an operator, I'll wait back here! It didn't take very long and they had the answer, 1) there was another breaker involved that was mislabelled 2) the old pressure switch is failed which may have been the problem before, hard to say. We got it changed out with a temporary switch, as the supplier could not get the correct one until tomorrow morning, and had water running right afterwards. Ahhh I know where Paul keeps cold beer too, thanks buddy, cheers! And thanks to Ron and Louis for their work, I doubt that I could have done this myself.  Back to Leslie.
So I had been expecting Dave home around 1 pm but with all the issues he was gone until after 5 pm. I took full advantage to actually sit down and catch up on some PVR'ed episodes of The Handmaids Tale. I love this series and Dave does not. I actually felt a bit guilty for taking an entire afternoon off but I got over it! lol
May 23
Wednesday Dave had to go pick up the correct switch and headed out to Paul and Di's once again to replace the temporary one. Big thanks to Trademark Plumbing in Bonnyville, owners Marcel and his son Chad know the trouble Paul is having and they gave us the parts free! That's awesome! We are heading back out to Pineridge so I went in to town to the grocery, pharmacy, post office and liquor store. I got home and started packing up the trailer.  It was a super hot 29C day. Too hot for my liking but things need to get done for Dave to head out tomorrow. Dave got home and we finished packing and started mowing the lawn. Another long day! After supper we headed downstairs to watch the  two hour, season finale of Survivor. At 10 pm we headed upstairs for bed. Oh crap! There are multiple texts on both our phones from Di's Mom, Denise. She had gone over to water plants and had no water. WTF! We had a very busy day planned tomorrow so we jumped in the truck and headed back out to see what we could do. Dave went down to the utility room and I ran from the kitchen on the main level up to the master ensuite on the second floor trying taps as required. It didn't make sense that with a brand new tank and a new switch that there was only good pressure in the basement, adequate on the main floor and almost none on the second floor. By now it was almost midnight and we could not think straight. Time to head home and tackle it again in the morning.  The house was still super hot so we fired up the AC in the trailer and slept in there :)
May 24
After a good night sleep and a few minutes to think things through we realized it was definitely the air pressure on the new pressure tank that was causing the issues. A quick google consult and a call to Chad at Trademark confirmed it. Dave had a brunch organized with Jack and Steve (a couple of retired co-workers). A quick detour on his way to the restaurant to lower the air pressure on top of the tank bladder and he had the water system working at 100%. He had a great brunch with the guys. It's so nice to catch up with the guys you haven't seen for a while. I got all the final fridge items and toiletries loaded in the trailer. When Dave got home he basically got on the road to Pineridge and I got in my car to head to Cold Lake for a bone densitometry test. I am staying home tonight and driving the Mustang to Pineridge in the morning.
May 25
Kinda weird waking up all alone. I can't remember the last time I didn't at least have a dog with me. After a bowl of cereal and a coffee I made sure the house was clean and ran a quick vaccuum hoping that we might have a showing while we are away. I did a short walk to loosen up my back and hit the road to Wabamun Lake. Just before getting to Smoky Lake I ducked as a fairly large rock hit my windshield.
Ggggggrrrrrr!
I stopped and grabbed a bite and got back on the road. I called Dave and told him about my windshield so he started calling glass places along my route to try to get if fixed asap. We found a Crystal Glass in Stony Plain that could fit me in. I dropped off my car when I got there and opted to go for a walk until they could get to it. The fellows there would offer no guarantee as the chip was quite large and very deep so we will see how it holds up. A side note: doing a 40 minute walk in flip flops makes your feet hurt! lol. The rest of the day we just worked on the lot and some cleanup/ organizing here at Pineridge. We have a real early start tomorrow to go to an Ultramarathon at Cooking Lake east of Edmonton. Our buddy Ailsa is running a 50 mile race to tune up for the 100 mile race in Lake Tahoe June 23rd. Yeah she's a special kind of crazy! More on that next blog.

May long weekend. May 14 - May 20, 2018

May 14
We're switching things up a bit and I (Dave) am writing this post while Leslie sends pictures and does the proof reading. See how it goes??
After our weekend enjoying some company it was time to get back at the usual stuff. Our realtor texted that there is going to be a second viewing of our house by the same people!!! Leslie is on a cleaning spree again. Before she gets going though I want her to cut my hair and I'm shaving off the beard I have been sporting for the last couple of months.
It was fun but time to go :(

After the haircut and beard shave it was time to clean the house for the viewing. Leslie likes it really clean and a little bit staged for viewing. We watch HGTV sometimes ;) so we put away lots of clutter, like even the tv remotes go away!! Leslie has signed up for a shift at the hospital today 3-11pm so we are under a time limit. Of course we got it all done and she left for work and all I had to do was finish vacuuming and a bit of stuff in the garage and it's ready.
(The viewing happened but sadly no offers, maybe next time) Margaret and I had a nice night watching shows that Leslie wouldn't really like, truck racing and Gold Rush, my fave!
May15
Leslie is doing a blog post today, we are really trying to get caught up and then it won't be such old news! I am headed outside early to start cutting the lawn for the second time with the bagger on the tractor. The old dead grass is mostly sucked up and I have a huge pile for mulch in the fall if needed. Leslie is multi-tasking with the blog, laundry and watering trees and flowers. Yeah it seems like she's all over but it helps her sore back to move around and she accomplishes lots, bonus! Today is a warm one, forecast high is 27C/81F so just after noon we decided to clean up and go to town for a fancy lunch.... I took her to A&W for a guacamole burger, oh yeah I know how to treat a lady! She looked good though...
Rockin' the new shades and white jeans, oh yeah baby
It's that time of year again and we are paying for insurance on everything. We like to do monthly payments on the auto policy but pay the house, trailer and the Harley in full. Why? Just because, it seems cleaner and easier to me and I know it's done. That was a big bill, explains the A&W lunch date though. The other thing was to get me a new phone. My iphone 5 has been doing weird things for a while now so since Telus had offered an upgrade to i8, with conditions of course, we went ahead and got it. I still need to go to a Telus store and get help with an Apple i.d. change that we did but for now I have a working phone again.
May 16
We started the day with a run/walk early because of the warm weather we're getting. Leslie is doing a quick trip to town for axle seals for the trailer and I'm staying home and pulling the first wheel and cleaning, repacking bearings and checking brakes while she's gone. Leslie has a hair appointment at 12:30 (no I don't cut her hair, we didn't even post a picture after I cut Margarets fur, it's not great) so while she's gone I got 2 wheels done on the trailer. I'll repack the other 2 tomorrow, I'm retired it doesn't need to be done in a day. Besides the other side is in full afternoon sun and it's too hot to work over there. (sorry no pictures, greasy hands)
May 17
I got out and got going on the remaining 2 wheels and Leslie ran to town for 1 more seal. Somehow one got bent yesterday?? Yeah okay I didn't put it in quite flush and wrecked it pulling it out. Seals are cheap. Leslie is packing the stuff back into the rig for the trip to Paul and Di's house for the long weekend. We usually go there every year for a mini work bee to get the "campground" ready for summer. I kept going on some maintenance items on the rig that I wanted done. I also took the bagger/mower off the tractor and put on the rototiller so I can till the tree farm plot and the gardens at our buddy Howard's. Leslie polished the bedroom slide before the sun came around that side and did the push mowing that I can't reach with the tractor mower. We worked together and washed the truck and hauled out all the food etc that we need for the weekend. It was a busy day but feels good to get it all done and have a frosty beverage, supper, a little TV and crash.
May 18
We know that this weekend we won't be "exercising" like usual so we both want to go farther than usual. I ran 9k in 1 hour, my best so far and Leslie power walked for 6.5 k! We were sweating when we got home but feeling pretty good about the distances. It may not seem like much to others but last year we were both smoking and no way we could have done this so we're pretty happy :)
We got an unexpected call when we got back from the weed sprayer guy. I called Frank and left a message on Monday night and hadn't heard from him but he's going to be here in 1 hour! Perfect timing, I cut the lawn a couple days ago and dandelions are just coming back. When Frank was done we hooked the truck up to the trailer ready for tomorrow's trip over to Paul's place. He has a radiation treatment today so we'll go over tomorrow morning. With this being a long weekend our friends Howard and Chris are driving to their cabin with their daughter Kerry and grandson Caleb. We are going to visit them tonight because we'll be busy all weekend and won't get a chance to see them because they leave Monday morning. Always nice to say hi to them and have a couple beverages. They gave Leslie and I two bottles of wine and 36 beer for helping them with the yard and things at the cabin. They didn't have to do that because we like helping friends anyway but what a score before the long weekend!! Thanks Howard and Chris!
Relaxing with a beverage at the lake cabin
May 19
Up early today and get a good breakfast into us because we want to get right to work when we get to Paul & Di's place. We got over there about 10:30 and got the trailer set up and asked what the plan was?
Paul & Di's beautiful place

Paul and I going to plan where to start
This year it's just the four of us clearing trees and Gramma (aka Denise) is making burgers and homemade potato salad for supper with chocolate and carrot cake for desert. I really need to work hard today because I eat a lot of Denise's potato salad and cake! C'mon, just like Gramma IS making, not "used to make" lol. Paul had chemo and radiation this week again (week 3) but he is on the chain saw and doing his share as usual. One of the toughest dudes I know pound for pound. Good work buddy!
workin hard !
Of course don't think Diana is sitting around eating candy, she digs right in too, her and Paul are alike that way.
Di dumping the blocks she helped cut and load at the campground fire pit
more firewood for the pile
We got the driveway cleared quite quickly, there wasn't much this year. Our next priority is the road to the campground. Every year we try to clear all the "leaners" and bash back the willows. I fit my rig down this road (barely) and I don't want a bunch scratches and scrapes!
the one on the right has to go

even the kids and the dog can pick up sticks! Di, Aubrey and Keira, Ashley by the quad
We had enough by 5 o'clock and went back to the house for a couple beers and supper. Alan & Denise were there getting everything ready and man was it ever good! Great supper Gramma, as always.
Alan & Denise (Gramma and Grandpa)
That evening we all sat out at the backyard firepit and had a couple drinks and many laughs. Really like these folks, like home away from home. It wasn't a late night because there are more projects lined up for tomorrow and I am so full of cake!!!
Priceless. Paul with granddaughter, Piper
We all had a good night sleep after a fun and productive day.

May 20
We slept in until about 8:45 and had a leisurely couple coffees and breakfast before heading to the house. After a bit of discussion about what to focus on we all got to it. Paul and I drove to Paul's brothers about an hour away to pick up some things. Les, Di, Ashley and the kids grabbed the pruners and snips and headed out to the lake road again. It was super hot.
Paul and Di's daughter Ashley with her kids Aubrey and Piper.

 Di with Aubrey...and Margaret

We all ended up back at the house for a quick bite of lunch. The kids went for a nap, Paul and I roto-tilled the garden, Les washed cabinets and walls in the kitchen and Di went to mow the grass at the campground.
Needs a cut!
We were all tired and hungry by now so we pooled together for a supper, had a few drinks around the fire and off to bed around 11pm. Heading home in the morning but that will be next post!

Lots of company, May 9-13, 2018

May 9
Knocked off a blog post in the morning before heading to town for a doctor's appointment. Afterwards I met Allan and Denise at the registry office as they bought my car. They gave me a ride home and we were enjoying a coffee and a visit when Dave's bother, John, arrived. John is from Victoria, BC and is a very active squash referee and player. He was in Calgary to ref a tournament so did the 3 hour drive to Edmonton to visit some family for a few days before driving another 3 hours here to visit us. We wrapped up our visit with Denise driving away, smile on her face, in her new ride. I sure hope it continues to be as comfortable, reliable and efficient for her as it was for me. John, Dave and I headed into town for some lunch.
Osaka, in Bonnyville, has some of the best Sushi I have ever had anywhere. We shared three rolls and it was enough as we were planning a big supper. After lunch we had a nice walk and then hit Sobey's to pick up some groceries. Once home we had a couple adult beverages and began supper prep. The meal was fantastic! Steak, shrimp, baked potatoes and Caesar salad...
and more than one bottle of red wine....oops! ;) Thursday we slept in a little and woke up a bit thirsty. Weird. After breakfast we drove 45 minutes to Cold Lake Provincial Park to do a hike. It was such a beautiful day and we chose a 6.8 kilometre path from the many trail options.
Dave with his knife and the bear spray. The park is known for many bear encounters.
It's called "Cold" Lake for a reason! John, Dave and Margaret waiting for the ice to thaw.
Beautiful trails.
John and I snuggling at the campground amphitheater.  Dave's show wasn't very entertaining...lol
The ice is slowly breaking up.
By now we were pretty hungry so we went into Cold Lake to Mamacita's, as John had never been there (and it is our favourite)
Chicken Tacos...so good!!

Two thumbs up from John, too
Once home the guys went out to look at the back-up camera in our truck. It had fogged over during our trip to the coast in March. We had been told, by various Ram dealers that: the seal might be gone, the entire camera may be broken, it is a warranty item, it is not a warranty item,  $$$ for them to figure out, up to $600 to replace, blah, blah, blah! Dave decided to check it out himself. I started making a pot of beef barley soup from some leftovers and a salad for dinner. Before I barely got started Dave was back. He had the camera out, the seal was broken. He made a couple calls and had a replacement part secured for the next day at a local dealer. "Of course it's covered by warranty" they say. The shop is very busy so it might be a few days before they can install it but they will allow Dave to do it himself. All told it went from a potential two appointment/$600+ deal to costing nothing and 20 minutes of Dave's time. Sheesh! After a small dinner and a nice evening we went to bed early as John is leaving in the morning with a very long drive to Penticton, BC ahead of him.
May 11
Once we got John safely on the road I washed and changed the bedding and cleaned the guest bathroom as Ryan & Ashtyn and Sam & Richard are coming up tonight. Once the house was presentable we did a walk, a bit more polishing on the trailer, grabbed a few supplies from town and then layed down for a short nap. The kids all work today so they won't get out here until 8 pm. That means a late night for all of us, for sure!
Me, Ashtyn, Sam and Richard enjoying hotdogs and snack around the fire.
The neighbours look hungry too! Seven deer came strolling by.
Evenings are still pretty cold so we let the fire burn down around 9:30pm and headed into the house. We refilled our drinks and set up for a game of Rumoli stopping only for a Fireball shooter and some snacks  in between.
Taken at 12:30. Not quite sure what time we shut it down.
Saturday morning began with a couple pots of coffee. The kids had brought out an amazing assortment of croissants, pastries and scones, fresh strawberries, orange juice etc. It was fantastic!!
Taco, Kirby and Margaret helping Ashtyn and Ryan prep breakfast while Dave supervises.
After breakfast we toured Richard through town (it was his first time here) and stopped for a walk around Jessie Lake.
Richard, Sam, Ashtyn, Ry and me with the scariest pack of dogs ever!
The last stop before heading home was a stop at our local butcher shop, Hamels. The kids make a point of stopping there every time they come to Bonnyville. The sausage and jerky are awesome! I think, as a group, we dropped a couple hundred bucks. So worth it. Back home we BBQ'ed up some burgers, tossed a salad and then poured a beverage and went to enjoy the beautiful weather on the deck.
The kids packed up for their trip back to Edmonton. It was a short but very fun visit, as always. Happy Mothers Day to me :)

Love this gang!!
May 13
Happy Mothers Day to all! After a quick breakfast and some coffee I set out for a walk while Dave had arranged to go for a run with Rachelle. They have both signed up for a 10km race in Edmonton on July 14th so time to get a training session in together.
More than half way done and still smiling!! Keep up the good work.
Around noon Graham and the grandkids arrived from Fort Saskatchewan. Britany stayed home to enjoy her Mothers Day pedicure and ticket to Stars on Ice.
Rylan and Grahams new truck.
My Katelyn
The latest addition to their family, Louie. Margaret is not impressed! Uggghh...puppies!
Graham is taking our quad so he and Dave cleaned it up, installed a new battery and got it up and running while I took the kids to the playground.
We all went in for a late lunch and a visit. The kids played inside for a bit but once Dave and Graham went to load up the quad in their truck they were back outside! They love it at our place as there is such a big yard with hills and animals etc. I think all "city" kids love trips to the country. So much fun watching them get dirty! Love them! Once we had them safely packed up and on their way Dave and I took a drive out to Moose Lake Provincial Park to unwind.
 60K already?
My girl is getting old but I still love her!

There has been lots of company and some good laughs and great meals in the last few days. It's been great. If our house sells things like that will change without the acreage to run around on and rooms for sleepovers. Enjoy it while we have it and we'll figure something out for when we only have our fifth wheel and not much room for company.

Back in Bonnyville May 3-May 8

May 3
After our normal morning routine we headed back out to Paul and Di's. On their 66 acres they have a five acre lake front area that we call the campground. It has three old cabins, three outhouses and a large firepit area. There is tons of room to park numerous RV's and we camp there many times each year so we often help out with maintenance. The white cabin is in need of a new roof as it is leaking. Paul had tried to quickly tarp it before heading back to Edmonton but it didn't hold.  When we got there the road to the beach was far to soft and muddy for our truck so we borrowed Paul and Di's quad to ride down in.
We loaded up our supplies to see what we could do. We managed to secure the tarps without causing any further damage (like falling through the roof...lol).  It's a wee bit of a redneck repair job but will hold temporarily.
Dave working, Margaret supervising
Hope it holds up
We came home to start polishing the trailer. We started on the kitchen slide which looked to need it the most. After doing the entire kitchen/living room slide we realized it looked terrible.
I was happy to climb down off my ladder to take pictures :)
We didn't realize how bad the oxidization had gotten. We are going to need to a different product before we can continue.  Oh good, another road trip to either St. Paul or Cold Lake to a Canadian Tire to get Meguiar's Oxidation Remover. We will try that another day! We cleaned up just in time for our friend Derek to pop in for a visit. He was on his way back from his days off spent in Edmonton. Derek had compiled a photo album of Dave's last week at work plus had photo-shopped him into some very hilarious situations. So funny!
Dave misses his boy.
May 4
Friday we decided to jump in the Mustang and do a quick run to Pineridge to plot out our future garage and get the permit application in to Parkland County.
Margaret in the back seat!! Like a dog!?! She much prefers the truck, thank you very much!
After much measuring, staking, remeasuring, restaking and arguing  we decided that we would have to move our shed to another place on the lot if we wanted the garage to fit with room to back the fifth wheel in safely.
This shed must move. Note the ruts we made in April with the dually...oops
At 4:00 pm I jumped in the driver seat so Dave could ensure all the permit paperwork was correct on our drive to Stony Plain. First I had him look up the address as we knew there was two different offices and wanted to get to the right one as we thought they closed at 5pm and no-one wants to be THAT guy who shows up late on a Friday afternoon. Well, guess what! They close at 4:30!! Crap! Hope there are no RCMP patrolling. Dave called them and explained our situation. I drove rather quickly and managed to get us there by 4:26 pm. Dave was very apologetic and the ladies at the county office were very gracious. The permit was submitted and we were out of there by 4:32! Thanks ladies :)
By this time we were too tired to drive back to Bonnyville so I called up my son, Ryan and we ended up staying there for the night. They made up some BBQ'ed burgers and a Caesar salad and my daughter, Sam, stopped by too.
Ryan, me and Sam
Saturday we had breakfast with Ryan and Ashtyn and got on the road by 10am. We stopped at Canadian Tire in St. Paul to get more cleaner and polisher for the trailer and arrived in Bonnyville by 1 pm. Once home we started on the trailer for a couple hours. We know how the karate kid felt. Man, that's hard work!
Dave checking my work...lol
Good job team!
May 6
Our arms and shoulders are feeling the all the polishing we have been doing. We're going to start the day with a run/walk and work out the kinks. Our road is off the main path so it's not unusual to see deer, rabbits and the odd fox as we walk around. Margaret is old so the rabbits outrun her but she tries lol.
Where's that wabbit ??

Nope! Not chasing those "rabbits".
We love this part of our neighbourhood and it makes the walk/run so much nicer than in town or a city.
We usually plan our routes so that we meet up along the way so I got this picture while Dave was walking a bit. We are both really pleased with being able to extend our distances these days. The gains make the whole process more exciting to do and more satisfying overall.
Down about 8 pounds and best run so far is 9km in an hour!
After we cleaned up we hopped in our Fusion to go over to Allan & Denise's house to let them check it out. We are selling the Fusion because we don't plan on needing a winter car anymore! They are looking for something that gets better mileage than their 1/2 ton truck and we are confident that the Fusion will be a good car for them. Super reliable vehicle for years now. We let Denise test drive the car while we visited with Allan. She had a big smile on her face so I think we have a deal :). We stayed for coffee and Paul and Diana came over for a little visit too. After hugs we made arrangements to meet Allan & Denise later this week to switch title on the car and off we went for groceries in town on the way back to our house. We stopped at the boat launch on our way home to get a couple pics of the ice receding on the lake. Won't be long now and the ice will flip and be gone for another year.

Almost ready for boats. The lake level is way up!
May 7
Our shoulders feel better so we continued the rig polish. Just about done! While we were working I took this pic of these rings around the sun or "sun dogs" as we have heard them called.
Cool huh? Cold front is forecast tomorrow.
We did a few more chores and did a quick trip to town. Ice on the lake is gone in the bay close to our place but not on the west side of the lake yet. Sorry no pics :(
May 8
Dave wanted to get a run in this morning but I am staying home to do a major clean. He registered for a 10k in St Albert on July 14! First actual event run and Rachelle is running too. Very exciting! Our realtor texted last night and we have our first showing on our house today at 4:30 !! The house needs a good clean after our being away and the windows haven't been done all winter. Here I go! Out of the way pets, Momma's cleaning! Dave cleaned up in the garage and I worked on the windows and interior for the whole day. It's show home clean in my books. Fingers crossed that the people looking like it! We decided to have Dominos for supper tonight. Gets us out for the viewing and I don't feel like cooking and neither does Dave. Back home for the evening to get some rest before Dave's brother, John, arrives tomorrow from Victoria.
